Hycroft is looking for an Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer ready to lead design packages, coach junior staff, and take meaningful ownership of project deliverables. If you have 5-8 years of instrumentation & controls engineering experience and want to step further into technical leadership, this is a great place to do it.

About the Role

As an Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer at Hycroft, you will lead the instrumentation & controls engineering design effort on small-to-medium projects and contribute to larger ones. You will coordinate with multi-discipline teams, mentor junior engineers and designers, and act as a key technical point of contact for clients and vendors.

What You'll Do
- Lead the preparation of instrumentation & controls engineering design deliverables — drawings, specifications, calculations,



and technical reports
- Develop scopes of work, design criteria, equipment lists, and datasheets
- Specify and procure field instruments and control valves
- Coordinate with designers, multi-discipline engineers, contractors, and vendors
- Review and check work of junior engineers and designers; provide technical mentorship
- Manage the engineering portion of small-to-medium projects, including scope, schedule, and budget tracking
- Conduct site visits, support construction, and assist with commissioning activities

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering or related discipline
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
- 5-8 years of industrial instrumentation & controls engineering design experience (oil & gas, mining, or process plants)
- Working knowledge of ISA standards, IEC 61511, and Canadian Electrical Code
- Proficient with AutoCAD and PLC/DCS configu
