About the Role
The People Foundation Pod within Corporate Systems owns Core HCM, Workday Help, and VNDLY, with the goal of maintaining accurate worker, organization, employee service, and contractor lifecycle data. This hands-on contract role is responsible for the ongoing stability, security, health, and day-to-day operation of the Workday platform across these foundational capabilities. The position is intentionally split between functional Workday configuration support and technical, integration-facing platform support, with a strong emphasis on KTLO, production health, operational support, configuration maintenance, release readiness, and issue resolution. The developer works closely with Product Management, Functional and Integration Development, HR Shared Services, and other Corporate Systems teams to keep the platform reliable, scalable, secure, and well controlled.
Key Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day operational health of the Workday capabilities within the People Foundation Pod.
Investigate and resolve both functional (configuration)



and technical (integration and data-flow) production issues affecting Core HCM, Workday Help, and related worker lifecycle processes.
Troubleshoot failed or incorrect business processes, transactions, security assignments, configuration problems, and unexpected system behavior.
Identify recurring production issues and implement sustainable fixes rather than relying on repeated manual intervention.
Support incident resolution and root-cause analysis for production-impacting issues across both functional and technical domains.
Maintain configuration health and proactively surface areas of technical or functional debt.
