Raíz&Co; is a New York–based advisory and venture capital firm serving entrepreneurs and growing companies across the United States and Latin America. Our advisory services include strategic finance, business planning, operational consulting, business formation, branding, and website development.
We are looking for a proactive, persuasive, and highly organized Business Development Associate to help expand our client base and strengthen our sales pipeline. This position reports directly to the Head of Growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and qualify prospective clients through research and outbound prospecting.
Conduct outreach through calls, email, LinkedIn, and other approved channels.
Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and assess prospective clients’ needs.
Schedule and participate in discovery calls and sales meetings.
Clearly communicate Raíz&Co;’s services, value proposition, and engagement process.
Prepare proposals, quotes, and follow-up communications for qualified prospects.




Maintain consistent follow-up with leads throughout the sales cycle.
Support negotiations and help convert qualified opportunities into paying clients.
Maintain accurate and current records in the company’s CRM.
Build relationships with entrepreneurs, business owners, referral partners, and community organizations.
Collaborate with the Head of Growth and advisory team on campaigns, partnerships, and sales initiatives.
Track and report outreach activity, meetings, pipeline value, conversion rates, closed sales, and other KPIs.
Qualifications
Based in Colombia and legally authorized to work as an independent contractor.
Professional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Previous experience in business development, sales, lead generation, account management, or a related client-facing role.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
