Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Carrier Sales Team Lead to join our Logistics and Transportation team. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in Carrier Sales and Drayage, combined with leadership experience and a solid understanding of logistics operations. This role is responsible for coordinating carrier activities, supporting day-to-day transportation operations, resolving time-sensitive issues, and providing leadership to ensure service quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support daily Carrier Sales and Drayage operations.
Coordinate with carriers, drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Build and maintain strong carrier relationships.
Support carrier sourcing, communication, and operational coordination.
Monitor shipment status, carrier performance, and transportation activities.
Handle escalations and resolve time-sensitive operational issues.
Ensure accurate data entry, shipment updates, and reporting within TMS and operational systems.




Prioritize multiple loads and operational requests in a fast-paced environment.
Support and guide team members in achieving operational and service-level objectives.
Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
Maintain clear and professional communication through phone and email.
Prepare and review operational reports and performance metrics.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve transportation processes.
Perform additional logistics and leadership duties as assigned.

Requirements

2+ year of experience in Carrier Sales and Drayage — REQUIRED
2+ years of overall experience in Carrier Sales and/or Logistics Operations.
Previous leadership or team lead experience.
Solid understanding of logistics and transportation operations.
Experience working directly with carriers and drivers.
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written commun
