The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) strengthens democracy around the world through private enterprise and market-oriented reform. CIPE is one of the four core institutes of the National Endowment for Democracy and is an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Since 1983, CIPE has worked with business leaders, policymakers, and civil society to build the institutions vital to a democratic society.

Position: Regional Hub Director
Reports to: Chief Program Officer
Location: Bogota, Colombia (Latin America & Caribbean Hub office)

Scope: The Regional Hub Director, Latin America & Caribbean is CIPE’s senior-most representative in a regional hub and is responsible for leading all program implementation across a multi-country portfolio. As head a CIPE regional hub , the Regional Hub Director, Latin America & Caribbean oversees the design, delivery, and quality of all CIPE projects in the region and manages all regional programmatic staff. Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the Regional Hub Director,



Latin America & Caribbean works closely with the Senior Directors for Strategy & Impact, technical advisors, and HQ teams to ensure that programs are well-executed, contextually grounded, and strategically aligned. The Regional Hub Director, Latin America & Caribbean represents CIPE in the region with donors, partners, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Regional Leadership and Representation
Lead CIPE’s regional program operations, overseeing all programs implemented by the hub and its in-country teams.
Represent CIPE to donors, partners, business associations, government officials, and civil society actors across the region.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with U.S. government representatives in the region, including U.S. Embassies and missions, and other bilateral or multilateral donors. Promote CIPE’s regional brand through external engagements, media, and participation in conferences
