Technical Sales Specialists partner with Autodesk sales teams and authorized resellers to assist in developing, managing, and executing strategies for closing business while improving Customer Success in their Digital Transformation journey. They meet with individuals at all levels within a customer’s organization to understand their issues and position solutions while discovering business opportunities for Autodesk. A Senior Technical Specialist is a strategic individual who leads and presents all technical sales aspects of the Autodesk platforms and establishes innovative new ideas for growing Autodesk’s business. Uses in-depth industry and software knowledge to uncover customer business issues, propose improvements, and achieve technical closure. They are actively involved in their industry’s community by promoting Autodesk’s unique business values. The AEC Technical Sales Specialist will focus on infrastructure solutions and be based in Bógo, reporting to the LATAM Technical Sales Director.



The territory to be covered is all North of LATAM (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru). We support hybrid work; you will be expected to travel 50% of your time. No relocation support will be provided for this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth assessments of customer processes.
- Investigate, discover and understand the customer’s business issues.
- Utilize knowledge of business trends, technology, and industry changes to identify areas of opportunity for customer process improvement
- Capture metrics for quantifying and justifying the customer’s return on investment (ROI) for the purpose of technical closure.
- Work with Autodesk partners when needed for the adoption of proposed Autodesk solutions
- Position and sell Autodesk's unique business value in competitive situations
