About the Role

We're a performance marketing agency looking for a part-time Creative Strategist to own creative output for our direct response advertising clients. You'll concept, script, write, and edit high-performing video and static ads for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok — turning client briefs and performance data into creative that drives clicks, conversions, and sales. This is a hands-on role: you're writing hooks and scripts one hour and editing a rough cut the next.

What You'll Do
- Concept and pitch direct response ad ideas rooted in proven frameworks (hook-problem-solution, UGC-style testimonials, pattern interrupts, etc.), tailored to each client's audience and offer.
- Write scripts and ad copy for video and static ads, including hooks, VO/on-screen text, and captions optimized for Meta Ads
- Edit video ads end-to-end — sourcing/selecting footage, pacing cuts, adding captions, sound design, and on-screen text — using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar.
- Analyze ad performance data (CTR, hook rate, hold rate, CPA/ROAS)



alongside media buyers to identify what's working and iterate quickly on underperforming creative.
- Maintain a consistent output cadence across multiple client accounts, balancing creative quality with speed.
- Stay current on platform trends, trending audio, and competitor creative to keep concepts fresh.
- Collaborate with account managers and media buyers to align creative with campaign goals and briefs.

What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience creating direct response ads for social platforms, ideally within an agency, in-house DTC brand, or as a freelance creative.
- A portfolio or reel demonstrating direct response video ads you've conceived, scripted, and/or edited for Meta and/or TikTok.
- Strong short-form copywriting skills — you can write a hook that stops the scroll.
- Working knowledge of video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar) and comfort turning raw footage into a polished ad.
