Int/Sr Electrical Engineer

Hycroft is looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer who is ready to lead design packages, coach junior staff, and take meaningful ownership of project deliverables. If you have 5-10 years of industrial design experience and want to step further into technical leadership, this is a great place to do it.

About the Role

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer at Hycroft, you will lead the electrical design effort on small-to-medium projects and contribute to larger ones. You will coordinate with multi-discipline teams, mentor junior engineers and designers, and act as a key technical point of contact for clients and vendors.

What You'll Do
- Lead the preparation of electrical design deliverables — drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports
- Develop scopes of work, design criteria, equipment lists, and load schedules
- Specify and procure electrical equipment,



instrumentation, and control system hardware
- Coordinate with designers, multi-discipline engineers, contractors, and vendors
- Review and check work of junior engineers and designers; provide technical mentorship
- Manage engineering portions of small-to-medium projects, including scope, schedule, and budget tracking
- Conduct site visits, support construction, and assist with commissioning activities

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
- 5-10 years of industrial electrical design experience (oil & gas, mining, or process plants)
- Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and hazardous area classification
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Teams)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
