You'll help build the next generation of a large-scale sports data platform , developing a highly scalable, cloud-based GraphQL API layer used across multiple digital products.
The platform ingests and processes data from hundreds of sources , with the team migrating existing data models toward a federated GraphQL architecture .
Key focus areas Building and optimizing GraphQL APIs and federated subgraphs Designing scalable data services and data models Integrating data from multiple sources and databases Improving performance, reliability and observability Working with distributed, cloud-based systems at high transaction volumes Your Team You'll work in a cross-functional engineering environment with senior engineers, architects, product teams and business stakeholders , contributing to technical design as well as hands-on development.

Build scalable data services using Domain-Driven Design and TDD.
Help evolve the platform toward GraphQL Federation.
Improve monitoring, distributed tracing and observability.
Write tests and deploy continuously through CI/CD.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and Scrum ceremonies.
Work with product teams to turn requirements into technical solutions.
Skills You have 5 years of experience in data engineering and data system development Handson experience in designing implementing and maintaining GraphQL schemas optimizing query performance and ensuring seamless data retrieval and manipulation for enhanced user experiences Experience with relational NoSQL and keyvalue data stores such as MySQL DynamoDB MongoDB Redis Handson experience working in a distributed cloudbased environment with high transaction volumes using a variety of connected services Proficiency with modern build strategies continuous integration unit testing and automated integration tests GitHub issue tracking tools like Jira and CICD related disciplines like GitOps Ability to design solutions provide estimates and evaluate risk and technical feasibility BS Computer Science Engineering a related technical degree or equivalent professional experience Would be great, if you have AWS Certifications Experience at an online company in digital media or content creation Excellent team player and communicator capable of creating positive relationships across engineering product and architecture Energetic selfstarter who can work in a complex collaborative environment that rewards innovation initiative curiosity and mentoring Knowledge of sports #J-*****-Ljbffr
