IT Governance & FinOps Specialist About the Role PwC Greece is seeking an IT Governance & FinOps Specialist to join its internal IT team in Athens.
The role supports IT Operations by managing technology spend, strengthening governance, and improving service management controls.
You will collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement, Security, Risk, service owners, and vendors.
The position focuses on cost visibility, optimization opportunities, governance reporting, audit readiness, and responsible technology investment across cloud, AI, infrastructure, software, and enterprise services.
Key Responsibilities Monitor technology spend and identify anomalies and optimization opportunities.
Maintain cost dashboards, forecasts, allocation models, and management reports.
Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, renewals, procurement reviews, and business cases.
Track policy exceptions, control gaps, risks, audit evidence, and remediation actions.
Support vendor and contract reviews, including commitments, renewal timelines, performance indicators, and improvement actions.
Contribute to IT service management controls covering incident, problem, change, request, and service level management.
Prepare clear reporting and insights for IT leadership and key stakeholders.
Maintain governance trackers, documentation, playbooks, and process evidence for audit readiness.
Required Skills Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be considered.
At least three years of experience in IT operations, IT financial management, IT governance, service management, procurement support, or a related technology function.
Understanding of technology cost drivers across cloud, software, infrastructure, AI platforms, or enterprise services.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis,



reporting, or governance activities.
Familiarity with IT service management practices and tools, such as ServiceNow or similar platforms.
Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Consistent documentation practices and the ability to turn data into clear business insights.
Preferred Skills ITIL Foundation certification.
FinOps Foundation certification.
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification.
Microsoft Power BI certification.
Similar relevant certifications.
