We are seeking Rebar Estimators to ensure the organization has accurate and reliable quantity and cost estimates for reinforcing steel, enabling competitive proposals, reducing financial risks, and supporting proper project planning and execution.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related fields.Fluent conversational English (B2+ or C1, C2 required).2 - 5 years of progressive experience in construction estimating, preconstruction, or structural steel estimating.Proficiency in at least one rebar calculation/estimation platform (aSa Estimating, Shear 97, Soulé, RGS or equivalent).
Key ResponsibilitiesCalculate quantities of reinforcing bars and accessories from 2D drawings, 3D/BIM models, and design specifications.Estimate weights, lengths, splices, laps, hooks, supports, and waste factors in compliance with ACI, ASTM, and project requirements.Develop detailed internal cost estimates, including materials, fabrication, transportation, installation labor, and contingencies.Communicate with clients or general contractors to confirm scope, clarifications, and exclusions, issuing RFIs as needed.Conduct peer reviews to verify the accuracy, consistency,



and quality of estimates.Identify value engineering opportunities and potential construction or cost risks.Build and maintain a historical database of material prices and productivity factors.Coordinate with internal teams (Detailing, Commercial, Procurement, and Project Management) to deliver complete and up-to-date estimate packages.Monitor steel, transportation, and labor markets to maintain competitive pricing.Promote continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and enhancement of estimating tools and templates.What We Offer- 8am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday work schedule- Hybrid work model: up to 2 days per week working from home (subject to company policies)- Half day off on your birthday- Paid day off on your graduation day.
