We are seeking a Chief Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, secure hybrid Windows, Citrix, and cloud platforms with a strong emphasis on automation, zero-configuration, and zero-trust. You will partner with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive operational handoffs.

Responsibilities

- Define hybrid infrastructure architecture for Windows, Citrix, and cloud platforms with an automation-first approach
- Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performing environments aligned to zero-trust principles
- Lead adoption of Infrastructure as Code practices through standards, examples, and mentorship
- Engineer and administer identity and access management across on-prem and multi-cloud systems
- Build automation and self-service workflows using PowerShell to reduce manual operations
- Align security, privacy, and operational requirements with practical engineering controls
- Coordinate with cybersecurity partners to deliver initiatives such as threat management and DLP
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and reporting for uptime, performance, capacity, and utilization
- Collaborate with network, application development, service desk, and external parties to deliver outcomes
- Present technical decisions and tradeoffs clearly to audiences of varied seniority
- Drive reliable, resilient designs for complex hybrid environments
- Plan and execute operational handoff of Windows, Citrix, and cloud services to infrastructure operations teams

Requirements

- 7+ years of infrastructure engineering experience across hybrid environments
- 5+ years of Microsoft Windows experience in enterprise design, integration, and validation
- 5+ years of cloud experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure, including identity and hybrid patterns
- 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance experience




- Strong leadership skills to mentor engineers and advocate standardization through example
- Strong architecture skills for scalable, secure, high-performing platform design
- Strong AWS IAM expertise for identity and access management in cloud environments
- Strong Active Directory Domain Services expertise for enterprise identity administration
- Strong Citrix Cloud experience including Virtual Apps and Desktops 7.x, DaaS, and Gateway
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills to automate administration and security workflows
- Strong security and compliance skills to translate requirements into implementable controls
- Strong stakeholder management skills for collaborating with business users and technology groups
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification
- Microsoft Azure experience across core services and networking
- Azure Identity experience (including Entra concepts)
- Monitoring and Observability experience for enterprise platforms
