Key responsibilities:

Technical Drafting and Detailing

- Provide complete and detailed 3D models for medium- to high-complexity steel buildings that meet project requirements, manufacturing constraints, and delivery schedules.
- Incorporate structural criteria into the development of logical and value-driven models.




- Prepare shop and fabrication drawings according to project specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate in the development of templates based on client requirements.
- Generate clear, accurate, and production-ready construction details.
- Generate structured material lists with clear information to support planning and execution.

Review and Quality Control

- Review drawings and required documentation before project execution to ensure all specifications are clearly defined.
- Efficiently incorporate revisions, client changes, and design updates.
- Review and approve drawings and models, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and manufacturing constraints.

Project Management and Coordination

- Collaborate with other disciplines to achieve integrated and efficient virtual coordination.
- Manage multiple overlapping projects while maintaining schedules and priorities, including last-minute changes or additions.
- Efficiently update and review modifications to original models and drawings.

Technical Mentoring and Development

- Provide internal technical support related to installation and fabrication details.
- Contribute to the development and updating of libraries and standards, promoting continuous improvement across processes and projects.
- Stay current with new technologies, products, and industry trends.

Key qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related.
- Minimum of 2 years of structural engineering experience, with substantial experience in the pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of Levels of Development (LOD), Levels of Detail, and collaborative workflows.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using Tekla Structures and coordinating with Autodesk Revit.
- Experience with 3D coordination on multidisciplinary projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
