We are seeking a Senior Functional Tester to join our team on a large-scale e-commerce project within the beauty industry. Our project centers on the development and support of applications across Desktop, mWeb, iOS, and Android platforms, covering back-end, front-end, and native mobile apps. Nearly 200 EPAM specialists work together to enhance this e-commerce experience, which includes multiple modules and third-party components.

Responsibilities

- Execute functional testing of the e-commerce application across desktop, mobile web (iOS/Android), native apps (iOS/Android), and back-end
- Contribute directly to the implementation and execution of automated tests
- Apply GenAI tools, services, and solutions to boost personal and team velocity (regression execution time, script updates, execution analysis, reporting, etc.)
- Follow and propose process adjustments to maximize the efficiency of GenAI solutions and support AI adoption within the QA function
- Perform web analytics testing with Charles proxy and validation via Adobe Analytics
- Contribute to the Test Strategy definition and adjustments based on project circumstances
- Review and analyze product requirements for clarity and alignment with existing features
- Write and verify defects, and support automation progress within the Pod
- Assist the QA Lead with planning, estimation, and task prioritization within the Pod
- Mentor junior QA engineers and share knowledge on the effective use of GenAI solutions
- Maintain Jira dashboards, gather QA statistics, deliver status reporting, provide sprint sign-off, and support production releases




- Participate in grooming, planning, retro, daily standups, and manage communication within the distributed team

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in QA
- Hands-on expertise in applying GenAI tools and services to enhance QA activities
- Skills in Mobile testing and API/Web services testing
- Capability to contribute to the definition and improvement of Testing Strategy
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Reliability, self-dependence, and stress resistance to manage challenging deadlines, unclear requirements, and evolving processes
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

- Familiarity with the BDD test approach and Gherkin language
- Background in the e-commerce domain
- Showcase of a proactive attitude
