We're looking to welcome a Senior UX Designer into our team. Take visual and experience direction and convert it into production-ready UI specifications and functional prototypes built for Unreal Engine. This position connects design thinking with engineering execution, establishing flows, interaction patterns, navigation logic, and component guidelines that hold up reliably across different platforms and input types.
Responsibilities
- Chart out UI flows, user journeys, and interaction frameworks for in-game screens and features, delivering specifications that are ready to be built
- Develop and sustain a growable UI component library covering patterns, components, variants, and states that enables consistent execution of designs
- Record thorough behavioral guidelines addressing navigation and focus sequencing, back-navigation handling, input response expectations, error/empty/loading conditions, and assorted edge scenarios
- Engage in ongoing daily collaboration with client-side engineers and UI artists to ensure designs remain technically achievable, performant, and coherent once realized in-engine
- Lead ongoing refinement efforts by assessing built features, delivering practical feedback, and modifying designs to account for technical boundaries and insights gathered from playtesting or QA
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of practical experience grounded in solid UI/UX principles, demonstrated by having shipped digital products or gaming interfaces
- Advanced-level mastery of Figma, covering components, variants, auto-layout, reusable component libraries, and documentation prepared for handoff
- Proficiency in developing implementation-ready assets, including annotated screens, interaction descriptions, state diagrams, and defined acceptance criteria
- Hands-on familiarity with the specific limitations and processes involved in designing UI for Unreal Engine
- Working knowledge of UMG fundamentals, such as layout,
anchoring, scaling, and widget states/animation, enough to design realistically within engine boundaries
- Grasp of navigation systems built around focus along with requirements for supporting multiple input types, including controller and keyboard/mouse
- Background designing UI that flexes appropriately across different resolutions, aspect ratios, and safe-area zones
- Sufficient communication skills paired with English fluency at B2 level or above, enabling solid comprehension of business needs and their conversion into agentic architectures
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Unreal-specific UI system conventions, including screen stacks, activatable views, and typical navigation structures
- Experience factoring localization needs into design work, such as text expansion, truncation handling, and adaptable layouts
- Consideration for accessibility and legibility elements, covering contrast levels, font sizing, and UI designed for couch-distance viewing
- Experience contributing to live products characterized by fast-paced iteration and regular release cycles
- Some exposure to AI Assistant technologies
- Prior experience within the Gaming sector
We offer
- International projects with top brands
- Work with integral teams of highly skilled, diverse peers
- Healthcare benefits
- Employee financial programs
- Paid time off and sick leave
- Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses
- Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses
- Global career opportunities
