We're expanding our team and inviting a Senior UX Designer to join us. Transform experience and visual direction into UI specifications and working prototypes suited for production within Unreal Engine. This role serves as the connective tissue between design vision and engineering delivery, shaping flows, interaction behavior, navigation structure, and component frameworks that function dependably across various platforms and input methods.
Responsibilities
- Plot UI flows, user journeys, and interaction structures for in-game screens and features, generating build-ready specification documents
- Design and continue growing a scalable UI component framework that includes patterns, components, variants, and states to keep design execution consistent
- Capture comprehensive behavioral standards spanning navigation and focus order, handling of back-navigation, expected input responses, error/empty/loading states, and various edge cases
- Maintain regular, close cooperation with client engineers and UI artists to verify that designs stay technically viable, performant, and unified once implemented in-engine
- Head up continuous polish work by evaluating completed builds, providing hands-on feedback, and revising designs based on technical restrictions and observations from playtesting or QA cycles
Requirements
- At least three years of applied experience rooted in strong UI/UX fundamentals, proven through shipped digital products or game interface work
- High-level expertise in Figma spanning components, variants, auto-layout, reusable libraries, and handoff-ready documentation
- Capable of generating implementation-ready deliverables such as annotated screens, interaction notes, state diagrams, and clearly defined acceptance criteria
- Practical exposure to the particular constraints and workflows tied to building UI within Unreal Engine
- Familiarity with core UMG concepts, including layout, anchors, scaling,
and widget states/animations, adequate for designing within actual engine constraints
- Understanding of focus-based navigation frameworks along with the demands of supporting multiple input methods, such as controller and keyboard/mouse
- Experience creating UI that adjusts properly across varying resolutions, aspect ratios, and safe-area boundaries
- Adequate communication ability combined with English fluency at B2 level or better, supporting accurate understanding of business needs and their translation into agentic architectures
Nice to have
- Understanding of Unreal-specific UI framework patterns, including screen stacks, activatable views, and common navigation approaches
- Experience incorporating localization considerations into design, such as accounting for text expansion, truncation, and flexible layouts
- Attention to accessibility and readability factors, including contrast ratios, font sizing, and UI built for couch-distance use
- Background contributing to live products involving quick iteration cycles and frequent releases
- Familiarity with AI Assistant tools
- Previous experience working in the Gaming industry
