We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team. Turn UX/visual direction into implementable, production-ready UI specifications and prototypes for Unreal Engine. This role bridges design and engineering by defining flows, interaction behavior, navigation rules, and component standards that ship reliably across platforms and input methods.
Responsibilities
- Map out UI flows, user journeys, and interaction models for in-game screens and features, producing clear specifications ready for implementation
- Construct and maintain a scalable UI component system encompassing patterns, components, variants, and states to support consistent design execution
- Document detailed behavioral rules covering navigation and focus order, back-button behavior, input handling expectations, error/empty/loading states, and various edge cases
- Work in close daily partnership with client engineers and UI artists to confirm designs are technically feasible, performant, and consistent once built in-engine
- Drive iteration and refinement by reviewing implemented work, offering constructive feedback, and adapting designs in response to technical limitations and findings from playtesting or QA
Requirements
- Three or more years of hands-on experience with a strong foundation in UI/UX, backed by a track record of shipping digital products or game interfaces
- Expert command of Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, reusable libraries, and handoff-ready documentation
- Skilled at producing implementation-ready materials such as annotated layouts, interaction notes, state diagrams, and acceptance criteria
- Applied knowledge of the constraints and workflows specific to designing UI within Unreal Engine
- Familiarity with UMG concepts, including layout, anchors, scaling, and widget states/animations,
sufficient to design within real engine limitations
- Understanding of focus-driven navigation systems and multi-input requirements spanning controller and keyboard/mouse setups
- Experience crafting responsive UI designs that adapt across various resolutions, aspect ratios, and safe-area considerations
- Adequate communication skills with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, supporting clear understanding of business needs and their translation into agentic architectures
Nice to have
- Familiarity with UI system and framework conventions common in Unreal, such as screen stacks, activatable views, and standard navigation patterns
- Experience designing with localization in mind, addressing string expansion, truncation rules, and dynamic layout behavior
- Awareness of accessibility and readability factors, including contrast, font sizing, and couch-distance UI considerations
- Background working on live products that involve rapid iteration cycles and frequent release schedules
- Exposure to AI Assistants
- Background within the Gaming industry
We offer
- International projects with top brands
- Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers
- Healthcare benefits
- Employee financial programs
- Paid time off and sick leave
- Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses
- Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses
