We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to build, enhance, and support custom ABAP solutions for supply chain and logistics processes in a critical enterprise environment. You will work in a self-governing engineering team, collaborate directly with clients, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time.

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver custom ABAP applications to support supply chain and logistics needs
- Extend and refactor Object-Oriented ABAP codebases to improve reliability and maintainability
- Implement BOPF enhancements for logistics planning, carrier execution, and freight settlement
- Collaborate with clients daily to clarify requirements, propose solutions, and provide status updates
- Analyze issues across SAP processes and deliver fixes through build, test, and support stages
- Build and optimize SQL-based data access to ensure correct and performant behavior
- Integrate solutions using REST principles where applicable
- Apply version control practices with Git to support collaborative development
- Coordinate with the engineering team to plan work, estimate effort, and manage priorities
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing discipline, and adherence to team standards

Requirements

- 3+ years of SAP ABAP development experience across full implementation life cycles
- Proven delivery ownership with ability to meet timelines and quality expectations
- Advanced ABAP OO proficiency for enterprise-grade development and maintenance




- Hands-on ABAP RAP experience for modern SAP development patterns
- Strong SQL skills for querying and data handling
- Solid REST understanding for integration scenarios
- Transportation Management module knowledge for logistics-related enhancements
- Version control proficiency with Git or equivalent systems
- Strong client-facing communication skills with experience working directly with stakeholders
- Strong self-management skills with prioritization and autonomy
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical discussions; Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

- gRPC knowledge
- Protocol Buffers experience
