We´re looking for a Weekend Dispatcher who is responsible for weekend shipment monitoring, customer communication, track and trace activities, exception management, appointment coordination, operational reporting, and proactive problem resolution to ensure efficient transportation operations and exceptional customer service.

Schedule:

Friday to Monday 8AM to 4PM CST

Monday to Friday 1PM to 10PM CST

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and track active shipments throughout afternoon hours, maintaining real-time visibility and service performance.
- Communicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and operational issues.
- Update customer portals, systems, and shipment records with accurate and timely information.

Requirements

- 2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics field is preferred.
- Ability to understand the business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize creative solutions to implement them.




- Strong knowledge and understanding of land transportation.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability.
- Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment.
