Senior FinOps SpecialistAbout the RoleMediahuis is strengthening its Technology & Product Studio with a Senior FinOps Specialist to make its multi-cloud environment financially sustainable, transparent, and efficient. You will work at the intersection of cloud technology, finance, and business. The role focuses on helping teams understand their cloud usage and costs, take ownership, and make better-informed decisions. You will collaborate with engineering, platform, finance, and management teams to translate cloud data into actionable insights, support financial planning, and continuously improve cloud value across AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud environments.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild transparency around cloud costs and develop clear showback models.Establish and monitor standards for tagging, ownership, and cost allocation.Support cloud-cost forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.Analyse cloud usage and identify cost-optimization opportunities.Develop dashboards, reports, analyses, and recommendations.Work with engineering, platform, finance, and management stakeholders.Help embed FinOps practices across Mediahuis.Support teams in understanding the reasons behind their cloud costs, the value generated, and opportunities to work more efficiently.Required SkillsBachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, a related field, or equivalent experience.Relevant experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, cloud governance, cloud engineering, or cloud financial management.Knowledge of at least one major public cloud platform.Experience with cost allocation, tagging, showback or chargeback, forecasting, budgeting,
