We are growing and looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to be part of our Agile and growing software development team in expanding our core payment processing platform and products within the Payments industry. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for maintaining and running manual test cases and have an immediate and measurable impact on our fast-growing business by helping us reach the next level and stage of growth. The primary function of the Quality Engineer is to break down business requirements into test cases and perform these tests as necessary. The company includes several Systems Under Test and the products may change quickly so the ability to pivot is essential.ResponsabilitiesAnalyze business requirements and create comprehensive test cases, plans, and suites.Perform testing across GUI, API, and backend/database layers and evaluate product readiness for production.Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects using logs, Splunk, databases, and other diagnostic tools.Collaborate with developers, SDETs, and Architects to prioritize testing and resolve issues efficiently.Support quality metrics and continuously improve testing practices and coverage.Work across cloud environments, particularly AWS, and adapt quickly as products and systems evolve.Leverage modern tools, including AI, to improve testing and troubleshooting workflows.Must-HaveStrong QA fundamentals, including requirements analysis, test planning,
