Rust Systems Engineer at BairesDev
As a Rust Systems Engineer, you will design and build high-performance, foundational software components that leverage Rust's unique approach to memory safety and concurrency. You will apply the principles of ownership and borrowing to develop efficient, stable systems that achieve C-level performance without the overhead of a garbage collector.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement performance-critical systems software using Rust's ownership and borrowing model.
- Optimize low-level code for memory safety and execution speed in performance-sensitive contexts.
- Develop and maintain low-level abstractions and interfaces for core system components.
- Implement robust, thread-safe concurrency models to support high-throughput processing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and efficient resource utilization.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex systems-level issues to maintain high availability and performance.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Systems Programming or Software Engineering with a focus on Rust.
- Proven expertise in building high-performance systems software using Rust.
- Deep understanding of Rust’s ownership, borrowing, and memory safety principles.
- Strong background in low-level systems programming and performance optimization without garbage collection.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
